What is the UOC Wiki Commons?

UOC Wiki Commons is a media repository that is created and maintained for not-for-profit purposes. It provides a central repository for screen shots, photographs, diagrams, animations, music, spoken text, talk shows, video clips, and media of all sorts related to Ultima Online.

Copyrights

Some information loaded into UOC Wiki might be copyrighted by the author! So anyone loading information must have copyright approval from the author or be the author themselves. For example, Ultima Online screen shots and logos are copyrighted by Electronic Arts (EA) and may not be used for commercial purposes. These may be loaded into UOC Wiki Commons due to the proper Disclaimer Statement provided by EA.

Appropriate and Inappropriate Material

Information loaded into UOC Wiki Commons should be useful for any UOC Wiki project. (will be expanding this paragraph)

Inappropriate material includes:

• pornography (images or stories).
• third party programs or their descriptions not on the approved UO/EA list of third party programs.

More Technical

UOC Wiki Commons uses the same wiki-technology as Wikipedia and thus everyone can edit it easily. You do not need advanced technical skills. You can add and edit directly in your web browser. Unlike media files uploaded on other UOC Wiki projects, files uploaded to UOC Wiki Commons can be embedded on pages of all UOC Wiki projects; you don't need to separately upload them on each project.
